Trio Design Group was given the task of designing a Hamptons influenced modern extension working with a vibrant family whose background included the graphic arts industry, this led us to explore our clients’ wish for an extensive extension and renovation to their existing Californian Bungalow Home.

We focused on creating a timeless floor plan and interior with statement touches of colour throughout the home reflecting our clients’ creativity and love of colour. Highlight pieces such as a blue recycled front door, blue ensuite and bathroom tiles and geometric and encaustic handmade tiles to pantry and powder rooms, are just some of the key pieces to this beautiful home.    

Maximising the floor area balanced with a controlled budget determined that a well-balanced design solution to address all aspects of the client brief was achieved. The functional spaces combined with beautiful finishes to both the internal and external living areas completed our primary goal - a happy client!
